Vinger Hotell is located in green, idyllic surroundings in the middle of the fortress town of Kongsvinger. The hotel was built in the early 1930s. It was already at that time a beautiful magnificent building that housed, among other things, Vinger municipality’s town hall. The hotel is centrally and discreetly located in a private park in Kongsvinger, with fantastic views of the city, Kongsvinger Fortress, Glomma and part of Finnskogen. As a guest at the hotel, you get free access to the relaxation department. Here you can enjoy a hot sauna or go for a swim in the pool. Vinger Hotell has long traditions with a very good kitchen. Dinner can be taken in one of the hotel’s beautiful restaurants. This is a hotel with personal character and a lot of art, sculptures and paintings. The most famous painting is found in the restaurant Grillhaven with a view of the fortress.
