The Old School House in York is a low-key cafe stop that earns its place on a route sheet. Really friendly staff, lovely food, plenty of bike parking at the rear of the shop and outside seating; if going in a group of more than 6 I’d advise ringing ahead and book the tables in advance. Well worth a visit.
