The Ark in Dalbeattie is a low-key cafe stop that earns its place on a route sheet. Path probably not suitable for full on road bikes; right at the end of the road. It is a no through road, but is possible to ride up the hill at the side of the cafe and access a path, which takes you to Rockcliffe.
