Just outside Nyköping, on the shores of the majestic Bråviken, lies the old industrial town of Nävekvarn. Cannons were once manufactured here. Today, the town is a small, charming village that comes alive in the summer. Here you’ll find bike-friendly accommodations for those who love the archipelago and magnificent nature. Outdoor NÄVEKVARN features both a nine-room guesthouse and a campground with cabins and tent sites. The cabins are located right on the water and have private wooden decks with privacy screens on both sides. Just outside the campground lies Skäret, a small island connected by a bridge that features beautiful cliffs perfect for swimming. A guesthouse is a more luxurious version of a hostel. The beds are made upon arrival, and breakfast is included in the price. There is a large kitchen for self-catering and a common room with books and games. The reception desk is located at the campground, and the staff will be happy to recommend great day trips around the Tunaberg Peninsula. The Nävekvarn harbor area is just a few minutes’ walk from both the campground and the guesthouse. Here you’ll find a guest harbor, restaurants, an ice cream stand, and small craft shops.
