In Dalsland you can canoe and enjoy the varied, hilly and sometimes wild scenery. Of course, it is a perfect place even for a cycling adventure. Just a few hundred meters from the famous aqueduct in Håverud, you will find Håverud's hotel located on the blue waters of Upperudshöjden. It is part of Dalsland's canal, which was built in the second half of the 19th century and was manufactured by Bergsund's Mechanical Workshop. The aqueduct that crosses the rapids is held together by 33,000 rivets. You can also visit the Dalsland Center with tourist information and the Canal Museum.
