"Eddy would attack" - the name says it all. Anyone who associates “Eddy” directly with racing bike legend Eddy Merckx and thus racing bikes made of steel, gears with levers on the down tube and rim brakes is in good hands per se in this great establishment right in the historic Nuremberg city wall. Here you can rant about the good old days, marvel at old, restored bikes or enjoy a delicious cappuccino with freshly baked pastries. Even better: On Sundays, you can even indulge your passion in real life on a joint ride and then end the weekend at the “Lazy Sunday Afternoon” with relaxed music, coffee and cake. Brands in the shop include: Café du Cycliste, Magliamo, Alberto Fahrradjeans, Thei-Sprint, Fingerscrossed and Gola. Wheels are repaired or restored in the adjoining workshop. And in the café there is a wide range of breakfasts with espresso, cappuccino, caffè latte, chocolate, tea, lemonades, smoothies, croissants, the most delicious cakes, quiches, snacks and much more. If you are looking for something hearty, you can get finely topped Erbl (bread from a local bakery around the corner) from vegan to hearty.
