The Freiburg bike café "Caffé Bicicletta", located close to the city centre, combines two passions of the former bike courier Martin Allmendinger: classic steel bicycles and high-quality Italian coffee. But that's not all. In the classic and stylishly furnished shop on Brombergstrasse, you can not only enjoy a coffee while talking shop, but also snack on delicious desserts, sip on organic lemonade, enjoy fresh (pre-ordered) burgers or even consume your own food. Bike repairs are carried out in the workshop and the shop has a small but fine selection of classic steel frames from Ciöcc and Cinelli, for example. Regular highlights are cultural evening events ranging from readings to relaxed jazz sessions. Incidentally, the Freiburg bike courier RadsFatz is attached to the café. So if you ever have to send something, just bring it by bike and stay for a coffee.
